It was not only about going back to the origins and the political context that brought Mediterranea Saving Humans into being - its core values, its humanitarian missions at the European sea and land borders.

It was also about its thousands of members, its various land crews active all over Europe, the way the numerous working groups interact, complete each other and reinforce its network - on a daily basis.

This and much more was accomplished on Sunday, March 3rd, during an intense day of internal training held by the Mediterranea Berlin for its new activists: we were happy to host the live participation of two of the board members, Debora Camarda and Tiziano Schiena, who shared their direct experience within MSH, but most importantly, offered valuable insights on their commitment as activists.
